[ale] OT: GPS/nav units?

Sid,

I knew a guy that happened to be experimenting with a GPS and
recording (to a laptop) what was happening as he drove.

By chance he was in a Corvette and another car was overtaking him.  A
cop gave him a speeding ticket.  This guy took his laptop to court and
showed what he had recorded and that per the recording he was not
speeding.

The Judge threw out the ticket and said something about it being the
most interesting way to get out of a ticket he had seen.
