Yep.  Also has no benefit on per-application memory space, whereas on
64-bit systems you get the benefit of a much larger application memory
space.  Only issue is that AFAIK, Ubuntu doesn't have a PAE-enabled
kernel for desktop systems.  They do for the server install, though.  My
guess is that it probably wouldn't matter much anyway, since having
large sums of memory usually means that you're going to want to work
with that memory in the space of one or two huge processes anyway, even
on a server.
