[ale] RAM and Harddrives

I don't see any reason to further complicate things by trying to put a
SATA drive in the machine. It is entirely probable that the BIOS
doesn't support booting from daughter cards before the built-in PATA
controller. Which he would have to do if he wanted to install a SATA
drive as the primary drive.
