The web site seems to be interpreting it that way.
I run Seamonkey with the latest updates. The engine is based on Firefox 2.0 code base.
I prefer Seamonkey to Firefox because I have a lot more control over the settings(without kicking into the "config:about" page) and I prefer the interface. Firefox is a bit too "dumbed- down" to me.
