I've been using noatime for years when setting up systems. Today I just saw a reference to nodiratime and have implemented on some boxes which seems to improve some system metrics. So.... how come nodiratime isn't really documented well anywhere? Also, has anyone ever seen any side affects from using it? -Jim P.
