[ale] ALE, "Overseas LUG of the month"

I think my /Linux Format/ annual subscription (including 12 DVD's) is 
$179USD.
They have many, many US readers ... and have responded to complaints about
the high US cost in a recent issue by saying, "Stay tuned we're working 
on it..."
