Job Description:

As part of new customer product initiatives, the Software Engineer will 
assist with the architecture and development of StayOnline?s next 
generation broadband (wired and Wi-Fi) visitor-based network (VBN) 
server software. Additional responsibilities will include providing 
ongoing improvements to existing software platforms and creation of 
in-house development tools.

The position reports directly to the Software Development Manager and 
offers tremendous opportunity for professional growth. You will be 
highly skilled and well-motivated, and possess the ability to jump 
straight in and get your hands dirty with minimal supervision.


Requirements:
? 3+ years experience Java
? 2+ years experience Perl (with Apache mod_perl, Class DBI)
? 2+ years experience SQL (MySQL preferred)
? Extensive use of Apache (modules, configuration, rewrite, proxy, ssl)
? UML experience
? Advanced UNIX development (FreeBSD experience preferred)
? Exposure to SDLC and OOD concepts
? Ability to multi-task, prioritize and resolve urgent issues
? Quick and rational thinking under stressful situations
? Maintain high degree of self-motivation and independent decision making
? Excellent written and oral communication skills
? Computer Science or equivalent degree preferred
