[ale] grub 1.5 menu stays up for 15 seconds

ooohhh, don't say that!! It's my travel laptop..
it is already spun up, because I use a bios password, so it's up and.. I 
haven't had any errors reported, and I even run defrag in windows every so 
often..
Ubuntu never complain s about errors.
