Rawhide is an old designation from prior to the Fedora Core series. Sort
of.
Rawhide is mostly for stuff too bleeding edge even for Fedora :)
Seriously, though. The packages in Fedora are updated as soon as a new
application feature will compile and not blatantly crash the main
system. The typical difference between fedora X with all the updates and
fedora X+1 is little more than the release name and maybe a few libs
backwards (as things freeze prior to the release).
