Red Hat workstation 4 here:
Linux rhws.home.edu 2.6.9-55.0.2.EL #1 Tue Jun 12 17:47:10 EDT 2007 i686
i686 i386 GNU/Linux
I'm posting this back to the list, in the event it will help someone
else. I've changed the subject as well.
You know, I can't help you there. I'm using enlightenment 17 for my
desktop and running on Red Hat WS 4. I've always synced my devices to
my laptop so that I always have the goods with me. Originally, it was
SuSE 9.2, then Red Hat workstation 3, now it's Red Hat workstation 4
My 680 was a bit problematic to start with, but once I figured out what
was necessary, it works fine. I know that with jpilot, you must push
the sync button on the 680, then the sync button in jpilot. The reason
for this is, that the usb device does not get created until you hit the
sync on the 680.
Prior to my 680 I was syncing a Palm with a serial to usb converter.
