[ale] CUPS and "unsupported format" messages.

Does anyone have a clue why CUPS would claim to not support PostScript
(or any other format, for that matter) given that PostScript is the de
facto standard for printing?

I click on "Print Test Page" on a fresh CUPS installation, and I am
greeted with:

Error:

        Unsupported format 'application/postscript'!

Of course, this confuses me greatly. And the log only shows:

localhost - root [14/Jan/2007:23:35:12 -0500]
"GET /printers/e240?op=print-test-page HTTP/1.1" 200 0 - -
localhost - - [14/Jan/2007:23:35:12 -0500] "POST /printers/e240
HTTP/1.1" 200 19036 Print-Job client-error-document-format-not-supported
localhost - root [14/Jan/2007:23:35:12 -0500]
"GET /printers/e240?op=print-test-page HTTP/1.1" 200 3395 - -

Any ideas? I have been banging my head against Google and my desk for
quite a while and am getting just about nowhere. :-)
