There were major problems with 10.1 and update.  The proper solution is 
to add a new source, then do update.  You have to do 3-4 updates in a 
row before you regain any sanity.

After I bumped up to 10.2, all my Intel wireless driver
> problems went away.  BTW, its well worth the time/effort going to
> 10.2 just for the fixes in zmd.
