Martian Computer, off Pleasantdale and I-85, specializes in laptop sales
and service.  I'm not sure from what you wrote if you meant to say that
the *adapter* is the problem or the *laptop jack* is the problem, but,
in any case, Bill Lucas et al. can almost certainly help you out.  The
number is 770 934 4554.

My E-Machines laptop's CD burner wouldn't burn anymore, and they were
able to swap it out with another one whose faceplate was an exact match,
and they also recovered some metal shield that was clattering around
loose in there.  I like being able to actually talk to the people who
fix my stuff.
