[ale] Slow SMB printing

I ignored this problem until I installed another system on my wireless
segment that exhibited the same problem.

When printing from Windows -> Linux across the wireless connection in my
home it can take up to 5 minutes for the print job to be sent.  Every
time I click on "Properties" of the shared printer in Windows it takes
about 5 minutes for the properties dialog to appear.  Could it be that
I'm doing SMB over NAT?

Here my network configuration.

1. Linux Router (eth0:192.168.1.0 eth1:buford.linxdev.com)
   192.168.1.0:
    1.  Desktop (192.168.1.115) File and Printers are here
    2.  Linksys 802.11b Router 
        (WAN:192.168.1.104 WLAN,ETH:192.168.254.0)
        1. Windows PC with 802.11b adapter (192.168.254.101)


I'm printing from 1.2.1 -> 1.1 above.  File sharing works
great and there is no slowness at all.
