Yes.  Greylisting, on a mailserver, tracks the connecting IP and the
>From and To addresses.  Generally a matrix is built up over time so that
emails are more quickly accepted in the future.  Greylisting helps block
"bulk blast" spammers who dump a ton of emails using custom software
that doesn't have the capabilities to track rejects in order to retry.

Now, if your email never goes through, you could have other problems.
Things like proper PTR records for the sending IP, etc.
