Good info.

It sounds like my dream of a PC with USB kybd/mouse, SATA external
drives, USB/Firewire optical drives, and just the mobo and video card
in the case is very nearly possible.  Finally free from the expensive
gamerbox upgrade trreadmill! :->

I'll need to research the mobo/video card sizes now....
