I have seen all your requirements running through parallels quite  
snappily (with a full load of ram, of course).  There's nothing quite  
like switching between OSes at will in full screen mode.

Parallels can be seen as a "slippery slope" to be sure, but iff you  
"got the tools" why not use them?

I'd recommend find one you can use for a few days, and see how it  
performs.  I mean, Linus runs linux on a Mac.  I guess it's ok.  ;)
