ok, all I wanted to do was install 2packages, ones that I had previously used
and had.. lost, because of my recent reinstall of SUSE..
after I installed smart, and tried smart install tovid ( about 4 hours ago), I
embarked on my journey into rpmfind and sourceforge.. to get that package
installed I needed dependencies, upon dependencies... and I
found/configured/make/make install and rpm -i'd the following packages(in no
particular order, and the file URLS come from my firefox system bar download
app)

   1:Installing libdvdread
   2:Installing dvdauthor

I think I have it all now, but, to be honest, I'm not sure. I think I still
have to put the mplayer codecs somewhere, and I know where I'd LIKe to stick
them 0-:)
