[ale] Laptops

I am looking for a laptop that will work with Linux. I would like a laptop
that would work with the hacked version of Knoppix called Hamshack think
it is version 06 that has the Digital modes like PSK.

Any comments of a brand or someone have one forsale they want to part
with. I'm looking for a laptop in the range of $300-500 something that is
a Toshiba P3/750 or better with wireless. Any suggestions??
