[ale] tmpfs resizing?

That would fit.  My system has 2Gigs of RAM and has 1 Gig tmpfs.  I'm
running VMWare and nothing else.  I need to put about 1.5Gig in tmpfs
for VMWare to behave itself properly it seems.
