Is this a contest to see who has the earliest experiance? If so I submit
that my first was with a Tektronix 8002, a machine that was DEC LSI 11/23
based. There was no vi or emacs, but ed was a nice editor compared to
earlier options and certainly better than anything on CP/M.
I remember discussing vi with Bill Joy when he came to an AUUG meeting.
