I'm not all that up on procedures, but I know I also had an install 
problem with my laptop, unless I turned off ACPI, ir APCI, or whatever 
it is..
I put my laptop in hibernate mode every day, so that would be an 
issue...
I was also thinking of a new desktop box to replace my aging DELL 
DImension 4400, a 1.6Ghz box. I'd like a DVD burner & larger HD, I 
already have a nice new Samsung flat panel monitor, so all I really 
need is the CPU..
