I was looking into this a few weeks ago. Alot of the sites I found referred
to programs that work with ViaVoice from IBM, which they have discontinued.
The best I could come up with was Sphinx4. From what I saw in the demos, it
has very good accuracy and it is implemented with Java. I don't know much
more than that, haven't had the time to look deeper into it. Let me know
what you come up with.
