There's always http://time.gov/ if you don't have to have it running on 
your local desktop. The other option I used to use for KDE was to 
display multiple time zones in the mouseover for the clock. All you had 
to do was mouse over it and it'd display whatever time zones you wanted, 
which allowed me to know what time it was at various client sites and 
our development center in India.
