[ale] Samba issue

Need a little help with SAMBA. I have a home network with a Debian Etch
box as the server. I have two Windows clients connected to it. The
problem is that the windows machines can only see the server and not
anything else on the workgroup. Also I use Gnome and cannot see any of
the windows boxes that are connected to it. Same with KDE.
So far what I can tell is that iptables is not blocking anything.
Both the nmbd and smbd daemons are running.
All of the computers can access the Internet.
My current samba.conf was built using SWAT. Nothing else has managed to
get me any further.
I have not been able to find a reference to my problem anywhere on the
Internet.
Many Thanks,
Jim Seymour
