[ale] OT: PSP images "Unsupported Data"

It has to do with size.  If it is too big it has to be made small.
I had some large images and had to make them small this way:

convert -resize 50% big.jpg small.jpg
convert -resize 50% small.jpg tiny.jpg
cp tiny.jpg /media/usbdisk/psp/photo

If someone could tell me the perfect resolution an image needs to be so
that it will fill the PSP screen when used as wallpaper I would be
happy.  I tried 300x170 and 480x272 and I get black bars on both sides
of the screen.
