[ale] a better ssmtp?

Jim the only other ssmtp I know of was bssmtp , which if memory serves
properly, is a dead project. I seem to remember some rabble by the dev that
he went back to postfix. Additionally, I seem to remember hearing that ssmtp
had some odd or big sec holes in it. But I could be wrong.
