[ale] reviving the ALE NW meetings

The 3rd Wednesday of every month at 7:00 pm....

Well, I've given it some time to let folks respond.  Of course no one 
could simply say 'Oh, Wednesday is good for me.'  No, I get a mix of 
multiple days, various weeks of the month and so on.

I was pleased by the fact that we have about 20 folks interested in the 
NW meetings, so hopefully we will have some reasonable turnouts.

So, after assessing the data and running it through some comprehensive 
calculations, I've come up with a best guess of some Wednesday once a 
month.  I apologize to those folks where Wednesday doesn't work out, but 
it pretty much is leaning that way.

I'd suggest we stick to the third week of the month so as to not 
conflict with the other ALE meetings.  I don't know that many folks who 
would be interested in making back to back ALE meetings.

Now this is purely based on my assessment of the followup postings to 
the inquiry.  This information will have to go to the folks providing 
the venue for official blessing.  Once that has happened, I'll repost to 
the list the final schedule.

So as to try and get a good showing to the meeting, I'll offer a free 
ALE/Lisa t-shirt to everyone that comes to the first meeting.

I haven't decided whether to give the shirts out at the beginning of the 
presentation or the end.  So, you'll need to be there on time and stay 
at least through the presentation.  A note from your mother indicating 
you're late because the dog ate your lunch will not be acceptable.

Yeah, you remember those shirts right?  Well, I've still got a good many 
and figured that since I'll not likely recoup my investment, I'll start 
working towards getting them out of my way...
