That needs to be answered.  Why would it be uninstalled?  I had a
similar problem with automatix2.  I ran it and picked many items.  One
was mplayer.  After mplayer was installed I watched a video.  In the
back ground automatix2 was still working.  Minutes later I ran mplayer
again and it was no where to be found.  Some program install in
automatix2 required that mplayer not be installed and when it got to
that packet it removed it.  I'm not totally sure why it did that but
from that moment on I have not selected many items in automatix2.  I
select a few run it and then repeat until I'm done.
