Oops - il & il1 are in infocmp for vt320 but not vt100.

man terminfo - do a search for these items and you'll see them.
One key "\E" in terminfo = ESC. So for line movement you have il (you
input the number of lines) and il1 (one line).

/etc/termcap
on my system (ubuntu dapper)...but I do have terminfo. So I can do the
