For something that I am going to use in production, I much prefer
FreeBSD (it is easier to do fully consistent backups, since it works
out-of-the-box and without any complex setup issues). For anything
Linux, it depends?I have had no problems with Ubuntu server (other than
the obvious ?PEBKAC? errors that keep cropping up? but those have
nothing to do with what is installed on the server, really?)
