Two Programming Positions.

SYSTEM/SOFTWARE ENGINEER [BACKEND]

Responsibilities:
Broad based responsibilities including maintaining, auditing and
supporting the applications.  Will be responsible for keeping the
application up, as well as improving it?s performance.  Will do
configuration type work, utility scripting, develop interfaces and fix
server problems (basically all the back end type work).  Initial project
will be the development of a car harvest (a script and user interface
that will go to different car sites).

Technical Skills:
REQUIRED (R)  PREFERRED (P)  1) Perl (R)  2) Application maintenance,
audit and support experience (R)  3) Experience dealing with very large
databases(R)  4) Worked in an Unix or Linux environment (R), worked with
MySQL and Apache (P)


SOFTWARE ENGINEER [WEB DEVELOPER]

Responsibilities:
1)Full life cycle development  2) 80% coding (included in this % is
developing technical specs and unit testing) 20% will work with the
owner of the functionality to define requirements  3) 50% new
development, 50% maintaining existing systems.  4) Most of the
development will be in Perl ? some will be in Java  5) Initial project
will be rearchitech of the car user interface
