I had your problem and figured it out.  You have to specify the Vertical 
Refresh option as 60.0-60.0 exactly.  Then you can get the 1600x1200.  I 
have dual 2001FP LCDs hooked up with a Nvidia FX1300 PCI-X with both at 
1600x1200.  The desktop is unified across both screens and hardware 
accelerated.  Very nice.
