Once, there were three gods, USR SYS and WIO the Terrible. Some were
more terrible than others. There also was a devil, that some called God,
and his name was IDLE the Trickster. Verily, many men said that never
get enough of IDLE, and great were the temples built so that IDLE might
rule all. It was a dark and fearsome time.

Of the true gods, many felt that USR was the greatest, for he was seen
as a god that got many things done. The work of USR was the work of the
people, and thus were they mightily happy when the labor was the
greatest, for all on their behalf.

Likewise, there was the god SYS. Nos SYS worked on behalf of the people,
but his ways were more hidden and his actions murky in their nature. The
Priests of SYS were well renowned, and as with any group of mortals,
there were those that were very, very good (the Great Torek comes to
mind, my Son, some say he was passed on to the Promised Land, and others
say he left it to enter the ninth region of Hell), and there were others
that were quite evil, and brought about horrible ways (many of whom went
to work in New Jersey). Just the same, the working of the god SYS and
the temple wherein the supplicants resides would come crashing down, or
might their likewise be some horrible fight for the resources that were
divided amongst the various creatures (this happened far more often, of
course, with the Unspeakably Evil Priests in New Jersey, but we will
speak of them no more, lest one appear)

Finally, there was WIO. WIO was considered at times the wisest (for he
held all knowledge) and the most demanding of the gods. In the latter,
he was as much a trickster as any of the others, for while his
supplicants waited for the knowledge to be brought forth great wheels
and instruments arcane did work beneath the Earth, which one did not
always see (that's why they were under, you know). Worst of all, were
the supplicants that returned constantly for more knowledge, for they
could appear to ask for little, but much work was done in fulfilling the
asking (this was improved over time with better and better wheels,
instruments, etc, and the first wheels, called Pios were replaced by the
masters of the bus, thus lightning the demand for SYS and WIO so that in
ancient times).

Thus my son, is amongst the things that it/they_mean_.

It may also mean that you should give me a processor upgrade and get the
others onto their own system.
