Forget about a fair tax (is their really such a thing?) lets push for
zero personal income tax and only tax profitable businesses as they,
bound by shareholder obligations, are motivated to produce a profit.
Profitable businesses would *save* money by reducing employee
pay/overhead by not having to pay employees money that is withheld for
payroll taxes.  

In all reality the current tax system is a shell game.  The Justice Dept
calls it money laundering when private people do what the US Congress
does (on our dime no less).
