Are you referring to the free version or the commercial version?
The commercial version is a dead-end product, though the free version is
supposed to be continued to be supported.
The future of email on Linux from Novell is through GroupWise, for a
full collaboration product, and NetMail for ISP-style mail. Novell
recently released the core code of NetMail to open source as the Hula
project.
GroupWise is competitive in price to the commercial version of Open
Exchange, and OutLook can be used with it, with some restrictions. GW
7, which is due this summer, has full OutLook client access included, in
addition continuing be able to use the much more functional and
exploit-resistant GW native client.
GroupWise also has a very clean migration path from Exchange, if that's
the current server platform.

Hi folks
I'm wondering if anyone here has used Open Exchange and can give me any
feedback.? I've been trying to get it setup for some time and not having
much luck.? I'm going to start over tonight and try with Debian and will
post with any errors I get.
I'd love to get this working as many of my customers would go with it
since they could continue to use M$ Outlook with it.
I'm also confused as the web site indicates there is a new version 5 -
but I can't actually find the download or eval or even how to buy it.?
The acquisition by Novell seems to be confusing matters.
Thanks in Advance
