Yeah, I've been there, too.
*shrugs*
I'm nearly frustrated enough with this thing to offer it for trade for a
pre v3 hardware version that I know works. I'm *not* about to toast the
thing and need to use hardware methods to reset the thing and make it
work again, I don't have that kind of *time*.
In addition, everything else I've read said that all of the "safety
features" that could be used on the pre-v3 hardware such as the
"boot-wait" and what not do not work on the v3 hardware, which means
that the only other solution that one has to work with is to tear the
thing apart and start shorting things to make sure that you can manage
to "recover" it.
That's way out of my comfortability zone. I'm a software guy and
hardware guy, not an electronics guru.
