[ale] VNC very slow at displaying background

See what happens when you try to recall stuff without checking..?
The option to disable background is on the Desktop Sharing app ?(krfb)
that is used to configure the host session settings.
The caching setting seems to have been a figment of my imagination.
I've been using TSclient a lot lately, so I probably remembered it from
there.

Do you know where that setting is? I can't find it on the GUI, not in
the krdcrc file. The documentation doesn't mention it, either.
