A quick google search returned these:

http://gramps.sourceforge.net/features.html looks good.
http://www.vjet.demon.co.uk/ftree/ uses xforms!  I didn't realize anyone still 
used xforms.

There are a bunch of command like tools, but I wouldn't call them much like 
Family Tree Maker.
