Have you successfully used this card with other distributions, or is
this your first attempt?
Check the output of 'dmesg' to see if your card is being properly
recognized.
I've got a couple of bt8X8 cards working here. You should have the
following modules installed:
bttv
videodev
i2c-core
i2c-algo-bit
