[ale] no June mailing list archives???

I just went to the ALE web site in an effort to see the thread listing for
the "voting machines" topic so I could refer a friend to the thread.
However there is no archive available there for June 2004. Why is this???
Are these archives added MANUALLY only after a month is done or are they
done in a sane manner through scripts that add to an archive on an hourly
or daily basis?
