if using windows then go to Imad's PGP page (http://www.ipgpp.com/) and see what the latest PGP is (the last i got was pgp658ckt08) it features PGP disk and will also wipe free space. other software is linked from his site.
other than that i would suggest Windows Privacy Tray (user friendly interface to GnuPG) if possible.
