[ale] Odd ssh behavior

You checked you firewall rules? A port scan from the 2 locations
should verify if you are seeing port 22 open from your server2 and
not from your office, whether you indeed have firewall config issues.

If port 22 open in both, check contents of /etc/hosts.allow
and /etc/hosts.deny.
