For a user base that size, administration can be a pain. Since DSPAM is
about the most pain-free anti-spam system I have found to run once it's
installed, I _strongly_ recommend it. Couple in Mailscanner with F-Prot
antivirus scanning for a complete package for the quagmire that email is
becoming.
For a user base that size, I would also recommend setting up DSPAM to
use a database other that the default Berkely DB from Sleepycat. BDB is
a great thing for smaller situations. Having the tools of a more
feature-rich db like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
