We had a short discussion regarding X servers at the meeting last night. 
  Noted some concern regarding the disbanding of the Xfree86 core team.

I've just downloaded a demo version of Xi Graphics X driver for Linux.

I'm going to give it a spin on my laptop, I'll update the list.  They 
range in price from $69-$129.
