Actually, not quite correct in the lower part of the message.

The corrected example should be:

where foo is "the name of the file you want to scp"

foo1 at foobar is myid at machine I'm sending to (Use the FULLY quailifed domain
name of the box you're wanting to send the file to (assuming that it's not
in your current domain, if it is you can just use the machine name only.)

: - puts the file in your home directory of the machine you're scping to.

Sorry for the error.  Got my foos mixed up.
