If you were to print the IBM DeveloperWorks Windows-to-Linux roadmap:

in the PDF it offers, would that qualify as a book?

Guys,

One of our admins came to asking how to learn more about Linux.  While I could
point him to various online tutorials/references, he wants a book  to hold in
his hands.  

It's been years since I first booted, so I don't really know what's out there
these days.  What's a good beginners book that teaches Linux effectively and
accurately?
