[ale] Linux and Sprint PCS

If he can go to websites via IP then I doubt he has a default router
issue.  For some odd reason he is unable to resolve names into ips.  If
he uses bind as caching then it will not gets its name from PCS's name
servers.  It will get them from top-level name servers.
