I can find them through the Academic side.  Click through to Higher-Ed 
Institutional purchases or Medium-to-Large Business, and try the 
Precision Workstations.

As for Linux compatible hardware, check out 
http://www.monarchcomputer.com/  As I understand it, they're local to 
the metro area, and they have a 'linux-compatible' section on their web 
site.

Also, for laptops, check out http://www.emperorlinux.com/
