Nope, fetchmail will not actually let you dod the sort of thing Preston is requesting.
I do this all the time with my mindspring accounts. I use either the webmail interface
to view/delete/etc prior to pulling "good" mail down with fetchmail or this is also a
program called prepop that should satisfy Preston's needs.
The advantage to using the mindspring webmail interface is that you can actually use
it to report spam as well as setup blocked sender/domain lists that you cannot do from
prepop or fetchmail.
